Stovetop Mac and Cheese



Creamy and comforting, this stovetop mac and cheese is a classic favorite that's quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to boil macaroni in salted water until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Melt the butter over medium heat in a different saucepan

It will bubble for one to two minutes after you add the flour

It will take about 3 to 5 minutes of whisking in milk until the mixture is smooth and thick

Turn down the heat and add the shredded cheese

Mix it in until it melts and is smooth

Add pepper and salt to taste

When the macaroni is done, add it to the cheese sauce and stir it in until everything is well mixed and hot

Serve hot, and if you want, top with more shredded cheese

Herb-Crust Pork Chops: A Simple Keto Recipe



This easy keto recipe will give you the rich flavors of pork chops that have been seasoned with herbs. It is a great low-carb option for a tasty dinner because the almond flour crust gives it a nice crunch.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C

Almond flour, chopped parsley, minced rosemary, thyme leaves, minced garlic, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a shallow bowl

Combine well

This is the herb crust you will make

Use paper towels to dry off the pork chops and get rid of any extra water

Brush olive oil all over each pork chop to make sure they are well covered

Press each pork chop into the herb crust mixture so that the herbs cover both sides

On a baking sheet, put a wire rack

Place the pork chops with the herb crust on the rack, leaving space between each one so that they cook evenly

For medium doneness, bake in an oven that has already been heated for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C

Take the pork chops out of the oven and let them rest for a few minutes

Afterward, serve them

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Paleo-friendly

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C
